„International liaison exercise in Lešť 2015, V4 for Ukraine“

Experts from Hungary, Czech republic, Poland and Slovakia will continue with a second phase of a successfull training of UA rescue volunteers which is planned for the first half of 2015.

Collaboration exercise itself shows cooperation and coordination of rescue units in emergency such as floods and flooding, windstorms, snow calamities and other disasters. Theoretical part and practical exercise is divided into following areas:

  • floods and earthquaques
  • chemical accidents and mass casualty incidents
  • accidents during the transport of dangerous substances and their impact on the environment
  • elimination of damages on environment caused by fire
  • safety requirements of rescuers at work (heat, noise, vibrations)
  • premedical first aid
  • fire detection in enclosed areas

This project will help to raise an awareness about volunteering and building rescue capacities in the whole area of Ukraine.
